Tylor Perry, a standout from Kansas State, was selected with the 15th overall pick by Raptors 905 in the NBA G League Draft on Saturday. Perry is set to make his debut with Raptors 905 on November 9 in their season opener against the Delaware Blue Coats.
After signing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Toronto Raptors in June, Perry participated in the NBA Summer League, where he averaged 1.8 points, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 rebounds over four games. This initial contract set the foundation for his G-League opportunity, as the Exhibit 10 deal can transition to a two-way contract, allowing him potential NBA playing time.
During his single season at K-State, Perry led the Wildcats in scoring and several key categories, helping earn him All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors. His college career, spanning stints at Coffeyville Community College, North Texas, and K-State, included nearly 2,500 career points, numerous accolades, and championship appearances. Perry now brings his experience and skill to Raptors 905 as he pursues a path toward the NBA.
