K-State baseball alumni and current players are making strides across various leagues this summer. Will Brennan, recalled by the Cleveland Guardians on August 9, is hitting .316 in August. Nick Martini remains on the Cincinnati Reds’ injured list. In Triple-A, Jordan Wicks is rehabbing with the Iowa Cubs, while Carson Seymour and Eric Torres are contributing to their teams. In Double-A, Blake Adams and Tyler Eckberg are making impacts, with Zach Kokoska recently returning from injury. In High-A, Nick Goodwin and Dylan Phillips are making progress, and Dominic Johnson returned to the West Michigan Whitecaps. In Single-A, German Fajardo is pitching for the Modesto Nuts. Cameron Thompson is performing well in the Independent League. The 2024 MLB draftees, including Kaelen Culpepper and Brendan Jones, are adjusting to their new teams. Redshirts and freshmen are also showcasing their talents in summer leagues.
