LUBBOCK, Texas – (15/14) K-State’s women’s basketball team secured a 73-49 victory over Texas Tech in the regular season Big 12 finale. The Wildcats (24-6, 13-5 Big 12) showed a balanced offensive effort, with four players reaching double figures. Junior guard Serena Sundell led the way with 13 points and four assists, while senior guard Gabby Gregory contributed 13 points and four rebounds. Junior guard Jaelyn Glenn added 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Senior center Ayoka Lee recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and two blocks, surpassing 300 career blocks. The win snapped a four-game road skid for K-State and secured a top-3 finish in the Big 12, earning the team a double-bye in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. K-State’s victory marked the most wins in the Jeff Mittie era and the most by the Wildcats since the 2008-09 season.
