On Feb 17, 2024, at Sloan Park, K-State faced Boston College. K-State secured a 6-4 victory. Ty Ruhl pitched six innings, allowing two earned runs. Blake Dean debuted, pitching three scoreless innings. Jayden Lobliner’s two-out single sealed the win. Chuck Ingram contributed with two hits and an RBI. K-State took the lead with three runs in the seventh. Boston College responded with a grand slam in the eighth. K-State’s defense executed three double plays. K-State had nine hits, scoring six runs with no errors. Boston College managed five hits and four runs with no errors. K-State now leads the series against Boston College. Next, K-State will play Georgetown in the 2024 MLB Desert Invitational.
