By Jayson Henderson

K-State women’s rowing head coach Patrick Sweeney announced the addition of recent graduates Lindsey DeVreugd and Anna Ryan to the 2024-25 coaching staff. DeVreugd, who spent five seasons with the team, is now an assistant coach. She played a key role as stroke seat in the 3v8+ last season, contributing to victories at the Sunflower Showdown and earning medals at the SIRA Championship and Sunshine State Invitational.

Ryan, who competed in the 2v8+ and 1v8+ during her three seasons, will serve as a graduate assistant. She was part of the 1v8+ crew that secured Big 12 Boat of the Week honors and a win at the Sunflower Showdown in 2023. Both DeVreugd and Ryan expressed enthusiasm for their new roles, aiming to contribute to the team’s ongoing success as they transition from athletes to coaches.
