The K-State women’s rowing team earned 33 Academic All-Big 12 Team honors on Tuesday, as announced by the Big 12. K-State tied with conference affiliate Tennessee, both securing 32 First-Team honors and one on the Second-Team.

Five K-State rowers achieved a 4.00 GPA: Grace Hall, Emma Johnson, Madison Koller, Symone Simmons, and Catie Wood. Several athletes received their second or third First-Team honors.

First-Team honors require a GPA of 3.20 or higher, while Second-Team selections have a GPA between 3.00 and 3.19. To qualify, student-athletes must have competed in the program for at least one previous year and participated in 20 percent of the team’s scheduled contests.
