The Kansas State women’s golf team will conclude its fall season at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational from Monday to Wednesday at the Kapolei Golf Club in O’ahu, Hawai’i. This is the third time the Wildcats have competed in Hawai’i, with previous appearances at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in 2006 and 2009.
K-State, ranked No. 28 in the National Collegiate Golf Rankings, is part of a 15-team field that includes Colorado State, Gonzaga, Nevada, and others, along with a team from Osaka Gakuin University in Japan.
The Wildcats will use the same five players who have competed throughout the fall: seniors Carla Bernat and Sophie Bert, junior Noa van Beek, sophomore Alenka Navarro, and freshman Nanami Nakashima. Bernat has been a key player for the team, ranking No. 25 nationally with a 70.64 scoring average and three top-10 finishes.
The tournament will begin with shotgun starts at 9 a.m. HT (2 p.m. CT) each day. Live results will be available on SCOREBOARD Powered by Clippd.
