K-State’s DJ Giddens Named Doak Walker Semifinalist

MANHATTAN, Kan.—Kansas State junior DJ Giddens has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2024 Doak Walker Award, which honors the nation’s top running back. Giddens is one of four Big 12 players on the list and the fourth Wildcat in program history to reach semifinalist or finalist status.

The Junction City native has tallied 1,128 rushing yards and six total touchdowns this season. The Doak Walker Award finalists will be announced November 26th.
