Kansas athletes have completed their competitions at the Paris Olympics. Ariana Dirkzwager, a swimmer from Wichita, participated in the 200-meter freestyle for Laos. She set a new personal and national record for Laos, improving her time by a full second.

Derek Mein, a trap shooter from Paola, also represented Kansas in the Games.

Both athletes are now returning home, having experienced the global stage of the Olympics.
