Kansas State junior women’s golfer Carla Bernat has been chosen to participate in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, scheduled for April 3-6 at Champions Retreat Golf Club and Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Bernat, a native of Castellon, Spain, previously competed in the event in 2022. The tournament will feature 72 women amateurs from around the world competing over 54 holes of stroke play. The first two rounds will be held at Champions Retreat, with the final round taking place at Augusta National Golf Club. Bernat, with a 70.28 stroke average, leads the Wildcats this season and is ranked No. 36 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. This is her second appearance in a world-renowned amateur event this season after competing in the World Amateur Team Championship in October.
