KJ Adams Leads No. 1 Kansas Past Furman, 86-51

KJ Adams matched his career-high with 22 points as No. 1 Kansas defeated Furman 86-51 on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse. Adams shot 10 of 12 from the field and added two free throws.

The Jayhawks (7-0) closed the first half on a 12-2 run and extended their lead with an 18-7 surge early in the second half. Hunter Dickinson added 10 points and six rebounds, while Zeke Mayo’s three-pointer helped push the lead to 54-35.

Kansas outshot Furman (7-1) 60.9% to 29.8% from the field, dominating the boards with a 42-26 rebounding advantage.

The Jayhawks face No. 21 Creighton on December 4 in the Big 12-Big East Battle.
