Left-handed pitcher Noah Cameron stands out as the Kansas City Royals’ top candidate for the 2025 Rookie of the Year award. Cameron impressed in his Triple-A debut in late July, finishing the season with a 2.32 ERA, 62 strikeouts, and just 11 walks across 54 1/3 innings for Omaha.
Cameron’s success is built on his polished four-pitch repertoire, which includes a devastating changeup that posted a 46.7% whiff rate, along with a four-seam fastball, cutter, and curveball. His ability to keep hitters off balance makes him a strong contender for a rotation spot during Spring Training.
The Royals added Cameron to their 40-man roster this offseason to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft, further signaling their confidence in his future. With his consistency and potential, Cameron could play a key role in the Royals’ pitching staff in 2025.
