Pladson Named Player Of The Year Again!

Clay Center Tiger Cole Pladson has been named the Gatorade Kansas Player of the Year for the second straight season coming off an incredible senior campaign. The ‘Dawg’ hit .587 this year with 13 Homeruns, including a shot out of the park in the 4A State Championships at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina. He was also an ace on the mound going (5-3) with 63 strikeouts in 43 innings. Pladson becomes just the third player to win the award multiple times. Riley Pint-St Thomas Aquinas and Conner VanCleave-Holcomb also won it two times. Pladson finishes a stellar career for the Tigers and now prepares to play next season in the Big 12 at Oklahoma State University.
