Red Wednesday Raises $1 Million for Ronald McDonald House Charities

By Jayson Henderson

Kansas City’s Red Wednesday campaign raised $1 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC) through flag sales. This year’s effort marks the 33rd annual edition of Red Friday, an event that has generated more than $6.5 million over the past decade to support families in need.

Chiefs players Bryan Cook and Trent McDuffie joined executives to present the total donation. The funds will help RMHC-KC provide housing and support for families with seriously ill children receiving medical care in Kansas City.
