Rowing’s Koller, Roenne and Wood Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State women’s rowing athletes Madison Koller, Neva Roenne, and Catie Wood were named to the CSC Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. To qualify, nominees needed a 3.50 GPA and one previous year of competition.

Koller, pursuing her master’s in business administration with a 4.00 GPA, raced in the 1v8+ boat all season, earning multiple wins and a silver medal at the SIRA Championship. Roenne, who graduated with a 3.82 GPA, raced in the 1v4+ boat, achieving a gold medal at the SIRA Championship. Wood, also with a 3.82 GPA, competed alongside Roenne in the 1v4+, securing three wins at the Hornet Invitational.

Head coach Patrick Sweeney praised their academic and athletic dedication, emphasizing the team’s focus on academics. This recognition highlights K-State rowing’s commitment to excellence both on and off the water.
