In the Cactus League finale, the Kansas City Royals finalized their roster, including Nick Loftin, Dairon Blanco, and Matt Sauer. Loftin had a strong spring, Blanco brings speed, and Sauer is a Rule 5 Draft pick. Manager Matt Quatraro announced their inclusion before the tie with the Texas Rangers. Loftin, the Royals’ No. 2 prospect, performed well with a .333/.435/.513 slash line in spring. Blanco impressed with his speed and versatility. Sauer, a Rule 5 Draft pick, is set to make his MLB debut.
