Former rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit is striving to join the Kansas City Chiefs. Participating in his first training camp, he is working hard to learn the playbook and adapt to American football. Rees-Zammit, 23, aims to secure a spot, likely through special teams. He acknowledges the challenge of catching up with peers who have played football since childhood. Despite no prior football experience, his rugby background provides physical readiness. The Chiefs will assess his progress in their first preseason game against the Jaguars on August 10. Rees-Zammit looks forward to proving himself on the field.
