Clay Center traveled in the 4A West Regional on Tuesday to number one seed McPherson. The Lady Tigers fell behind 13-0 after two innings but then dug in and battled before losing a 14-4 final in five innings to end their season. Candace Lippe started the game; Elliott Jensen would finish the game. At the plate Maizy Gurney homered; Brenna Long and Jensen doubled and Allison Adams and Ericka Johnston each had one hit. The game closed the chapter for Tiger Sports for six seniors: Candace Lippe, Elliott Jensen, Maggie Brown, Jorja Auld, Raegann McDonald and Allison Adams. The Lady Tigers finished the season (7-18).
