K-State football has placed several players on prestigious preseason watch lists for the 2024 season. Running back DJ Giddens and quarterback Avery Johnson are on the Maxwell Award watch list, recognizing the most outstanding player in college football. Dylan Edwards has earned a spot on the Paul Hornung Award watch list, highlighting his versatility on the field. Additionally, linebacker Austin Moore is a candidate for the Wuerffel Trophy, which honors community service. These recognitions reflect the high expectations for K-State’s players as they prepare for the upcoming season.
