Clay Center wrapped up the regular season this week at the Smoky Hill Country Club in Hays. The Lady Tigers shot a team total 451 to finish in 5th place. Leading the way for Clay Center was Bria Link who fired a 105, one better than teammate Shae Berroth’s 106. They were followed by Leslie Mulligan 116, Berklee Gisselbeck 124, Avery Baer 130 and Maddie Fox 136. Clay Center now gets set to head to Topeka’s Shawnee Country Club for the Regional Championships on Tuesday. Schools competing along with Clay Center are Wamego, Holton, Rock Creek, Topeka-Hayden, Sante Fe Trail, Circle, Mulvane and Rose Hill. The top three teams and top five individuals on non-qualifying teams will qualify for the 4A State Tournament in Hutchinson October 20th and 21st.
