The Kansas State men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday, where three Wildcats moved up in the K-State all-time top-25 records. The women’s team finished 11th with 304 points, while the men placed 15th with 390 points.
In the women’s 6k, Grace Meyer broke the 21-minute mark for the first time, finishing 17th with a personal best of 20:47.92, now placing her 10th on K-State’s all-time records. Freshman Christine Jerono also entered the record books, claiming the 25th spot with her time of 21:23.78.
On the men’s side, Tommy Hazen ran a personal best of 24:18.0 in the 8k, finishing 21st and moving up to 12th on K-State’s all-time records.
The Wildcats now prepare for the Big 12 Championship, which will take place on November 1 in Waco, Texas.
