Veronika Kulhava and Maria Santos, representing the Wildcats, secured spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. Kulhava, hailing from Letohrad, Czech Republic, achieved a 4.00 GPA in Psychology for the 2023-24 academic term. She transferred from Temple University, where she previously earned CSC Academic All-Region honors in 2023. Santos, originating from Cortegaça, Portugal, attained a 4.00 GPA in Business. In her freshman year, she was recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete and joined the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. Kulhava and Santos excelled in fall and spring tournaments. The Big 12 Conference saw significant representation, notably with BYU securing four nominations, among a total of 11 participating schools. To qualify, athletes needed a minimum of one year of prior competition and a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
