A pay insights report from ADP research institute found that the average Kansan will earn roughly $58,000 in 2023. Compared to other states’ estimated earnings for 2023, Kansas lies roughly in the middle. Kansas’ year-over-year change in annual pay was reported to be 5.8% in October. Nationally, the year-over-year median change in salary was 5.7%, the slowest wage growth since October 2021. ADP also reported that 113,000 private sector jobs were added in October, and ‘paint a well-rounded jobs picture’ according to ADP’s Chief Economist, Nela Richardson.
