The Red Cross will be putting on a Blood Drive in Junction City on January 18th and 19th. The hours on Jan. 18th will be from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on the 19th 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the City Municipal Building.
You can make an appointment by going to the Red Cross website, calling the Red Cross, downloading their App, or simply by enabling the “Blood Donor Skill” on your Alexa Device.
A blood donor card, driver’s license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
