The Chapman Police Department recently welcomed a new officer to their department: a German Shepherd named Dash.

Dash is assigned to Officer Saunto, and currently, they are training together.

Once this training is complete, they will move on to training in narcotics detection, article searches, and tracking.

The Chapman Police Department said a lot of time and effort have gone into restarting the K9 Program, and that this could not be done without support and donations.
