The City of Manhattan has announced the City will host its Furniture Amnesty Day on Friday, July 26th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Manhattan City Park.
This annual event, organized by the City of Manhattan Municipal Government and HandsOn Kansas State, allows residents to donate furniture, which others can then select for free. This event aims to find new homes for hundreds of pieces of furniture, reducing waste. Last year, 355 pieces of furniture were saved from the landfill. For more details and to sign up, visit here.
