Cloud County has announced the amount of sales tax money they received in 2023 – for the second year in a row, that number is record breaking.

This year, they earned $1,060,960.53 in sales tax money. Last year, they earned $1,018,889.54.

The amount of sales tax money collected in the month of December did decrease by 1.8 percent from where it was in 2022. This year, it was $84,538.38, when in 2022 it was over $86,000.
