Community Came Out in Large Numbers for Pony Up Match Day

By Ryan Duey

On May 3rd the Marysville Community Foundation’s (MCF) Pony Up Match Day brought in $370,555 with 1283 gifts from the community. After adding the $100,000 in matched donations that was over $470,000 spread around to 56 different organizations in Marysville and Marshall County.

Jeff Crist, MCF Board President, said they had an amazing day. This is all thanks to the donors not just near, but from around the US.

The community and generous donors showed up to support their small community in large numbers. Crist said he can’t get over just how generous their community is.

Crist and the rest of MCF are already looking forward to next year’s Pony Up Match Day on May 2nd, 2025. People can also donate year-round at the MCF website.
