The Dickinson County CARE Coalition opened up its CarePortal merely 2 months ago and it is already making an impact in the Community.

The CarePortal provides a way for area citizens with an urgent need for their children to meet up with area churches, which can help in a time of need. The CarePortal helps with anything from furnishings to utility assistance, with 5 area churches currently signed up on the portal.

Many donations have come through during a fundraiser that will help the Coalition move forward with other resources for the community. The plan for the recent donations is to build a resource webpage for Dickinson County to help citizens connect with organizations and services when in need. There are also plans for additional resources and services in the future.
