The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) reported exceptional growth during the 2022 Community Foundation Census, conducted by the Community Foundation Research and Training Institute.
Among the over 890 community foundations surveyed, GMCF ranked the 9th highest in growth rate at +39% over a one-year span, and a +160% growth rate from 2019 to 2022, comparatively community foundations field-wide declined 10% on average.
Vern Henricks, GMCF President & CEO, said it’s the attitude they take towards service to all.
GMCF’s partner program includes many area affiliates and associations, from Clay Center, Marysville, Frankfort, Rural Riley County, and much more. Henricks said as the community foundation families grow and learn from each other, they all grow.
Henricks said they are humbled by the growth and thank those who have put their trust in them to serve and help. All the community foundations under the GMCF partner program can be found on its website.
