Kansas Launches Two Grant Programs Supporting Arts and Culture

By Trish Svoboda

Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland announced the launch of two new grant programs under the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission (KCAIC), Arts Everywhere Grants and General Operating Support Grants.

The grant programs show Commerce’s commitment to increasing funding for various organizations and projects across the state, aiming to use the arts to boost the Kansas economy.

Arts Everywhere Grants will fund a wider array of projects, focusing on bringing arts directly to communities. Non-profit organizations and community groups can apply for these grants to support individual arts and culture projects.

The General Operating Support Grants program aims to financially assist non-profit arts and cultural organizations in Kansas. Organizations dedicated to arts and culture are invited to apply for grants supporting ongoing operations and initiatives.

KCAIC remains committed to supporting existing programs, including the Public Art & Murals program and the Visiting Artists program, which continue to bring public art and enriching artistic experiences to communities statewide
