Regulations dictating the harvest of blue catfish in Milford Reservoir have officially changed.

KDWP’s Milford District Fisheries Biologist Brett Miller said the adjusted slot limit will help manage the reservoir’s large population of smaller blue catfish.

The change means that all blue catfish measuring between 28” to 40” must be released. Miller noted that signs have already been posted around the reservoir detailing the adjusted regulation.
