Rocking M Media, a significant presence in western Kansas radio, has sold its stations to Kansas Broadcast Company LLC, owned by veteran broadcaster Kyle Bauer. This transition ensures the continuation of quality programming, community engagement, and public service. Monte and Doris Miller, who acquired the stations in 2007, have dedicated the past 17 years to informing, entertaining, and serving the western Kansas communities, fostering a strong connection with their listeners through local news, public information, community events, and entertainment.

“We are immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished over the years,” said Monte Miller. “Our stations have been more than just a source of news and music; they have been a vital part of the community. We are confident that Kyle Bauer and Kansas Broadcast Company will continue our legacy of service and commitment to our listeners.”

Kyle Bauer, the new owner of the stations under Kansas Broadcast Company LLC, brings extensive experience and dedication to Kansas broadcasting. As an owner of KFRM radio in Salina and KCLY in Clay Center, Bauer has established a reputation for excellence. KFRM is recognized as one of the most powerful agricultural stations in the Midwest, offering essential information and services to the farming community.

“My family and I are very excited to be part of communities in the Southwest and Northwest Kansas. Kansas is a great state to live in and do business. We see our job is to promote the communities in our areas and make them even better places to live,” said Kyle Bauer. “Broadcasting has been a great business for us. We are excited to continue that legacy for generations to come.”

The sale marks a new chapter for the Western Kansas radio stations, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing commitment to the community’s interests. Kansas Broadcast Company LLC plans to build upon Rocking M Media’s solid groundwork, maintaining the stations as trusted sources for information, entertainment, and community engagement.
