Marysville Chamber & Main Street and Marysville Convention & Tourism are currently in the works of combining into one organization. The primary goal is to unite to work for the betterment of Marysville more effectively.

Wayne Kruse of Marysville Chamber & Mainstreet said this process has been going on for a while between the different organizations.

After conducting surveys during the Marysville Mother’s Day Market, it was easy to see how activities from the organizations overlap with each other. Kruse said the data supports the need for merging.

Kruse said to be on the lookout for the new changes in name and logo, but while there will be changes in the appearance citizens won’t see any real change in what they are doing for the community.
