Marysville Fireworks Stand Using Sales to Help Local Family

By Ryan Duey

S’n’L Fireworks in Marysville is dedicating a portion of its proceeds this holiday week to support Ryan and Melissa Friedrichs and their 2-year-old daughter, Cami, who has faced significant health challenges. Cami was diagnosed with liver cancer last year and received a liver transplant in February. Post-transplant, she developed pneumonia and experienced a lung collapse, leading to multiple stays in the pediatric intensive care unit. The Friedrichs also have two older daughters, Korie and Case.

Maggie Schotte, a cousin of Melissa, helps run the S’n’L Fireworks Stand and decided to assist the Friedrichs upon learning about their situation. This initiative marks the third year the Schotte and Lee families have sponsored a family in need. The stand is open from noon to 10 p.m. through Friday, July 5, offering a variety of fireworks to support a local family in need
