NCK CASA and Hope’s Place CAC announced that they have hired a new Executive Director, Tony A. Miller, to the team. Tony has worked for CASA in Kansas for fifteen years and has been with NCK CASA since 2019 as CASA Supervisor.
Before arriving at NCK Casa, he served as a CASA Executive Director in Western Kansas for 10 years (2009-2019). Since his arrival at NCK CASA, he has worked closely with all of the CASA Volunteers. He has facilitated new and continuing education training to the volunteers and provided supervision to them as they work with the children they serve.
He has been involved in program outreach programs and assisted when needed with the CAC. Tony is certified through the National CASA Association in Training of Facilitators for the National CASA Pre-Service curriculum and is a CASA Facilitator. Tony also has experience working with law enforcement, juvenile justice authority, and in an alternative school as a recovery specialist.
He has three children and likes to spend his time with them. He also enjoys fishing, golfing (poorly, he said), and camping with his family.
