NCK CASA to Hold “30 for 30” Virtual Fun Run

By Ryan Duey

NCK CASA invites you to join them in celebrating 30 years of helping children by participating in their Virtual Fundraising Run “30 miles for 30 years” in April. Registration is now open for the Virtual Fun Run.

NCK CASA advocates for abused and neglected children in the Kansas 12th Judicial District which includes the counties of Cloud, Jewell, Lincoln, Mitchell, Washington, and Republic Counties.

Partnered with Hope’s Place Child Advocacy Center, the organization offers a child-centered program, employing a trauma-sensitive, multidisciplinary strategy in response to allegations of abuse. Also serving the Kansas 12th Judicial District.

Participants are encouraged to engage on the organization’s Facebook page and join the “30 for 30” group for interactive discussions throughout April. This initiative coincides with National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The event not only commemorates three decades of NCK CASA’s vital work but also underscores the ongoing commitment to safeguarding the well-being of children in the specified Kansas counties.
