Purina Animal Nutrition and the Land O’Lakes Foundation are now accepting applications for its scholarship program. This program is specifically designed to support students with a background in agriculture and livestock production, helping them to follow their passions and advance their education.
In addition to undergraduate students, high school seniors with hands-on experience in raising small or large livestock, equine, and/or poultry can apply for one of the four scholarships, each worth $5,000. Candidates should be able to showcase the influence of animal agriculture in their lives, exhibit academic excellence, demonstrate leadership abilities, participate in community services, and have a well-defined vision for their future.
The application period for the scholarship will run from March 18 to April 17. The scholarship funds will be disbursed to the recipients for the Fall 2024 semester at their existing or expected educational institution. The scholarship is available to all high school seniors intending to undertake full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire forthcoming academic semester/term. It is also open to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.
