Riley County Extension Council holding “Focus on Building Rural Communities Program”

On Monday, March 4th the Riley County Extension Council will be holding a “Focus on Building Rural Communities Program” at Sikes Venue in Leonardville. Doors will open at 9:00 am with the Speakers starting at 9:30.

Gary D. Fike, Riley County Extension Director, expects this to be one of the best offerings they have ever had in Community Vitality.

The Program will have a host of Speakers, including speakers from the Governor’s office and local Business leaders, with a Special Keynote Speaker this year, Benjamin Winchester.

This Program is not just for Riley County Residents and will benefit any area leaders and citizens from rural communities. Registration is $25, which includes lunch.
