The Clay County Medical Center announced in an email press release on Monday, February 12th, that Riley Family Physicians will be getting a new Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
According to the release, Gloria Park is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Washburn University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fort Hays State University.
Park said in the release that she joined the Clay County Medical Center team because “there is always a need for healthcare clinicians no matter where in the world you are, but especially in rural communities.”
The release said Park “will assess, diagnose, and treat conditions across all ages. Treatment for mental health concerns include depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia, ADHD, eating disorders, and dementia.”
