SME Announces Cloud Welding Instructor As ’30 Under 30′ Honoree

SME, a nonprofit that is committed to helping manufacturers learn about new technology and grow as leaders, is recognizing future leaders in the manufacturing industry. They are being recognized as 2023’s “30 Under 30”.

The honorees come from a variety of manufacturing industries. They have demonstrated their professional skills, as well as their engagement with the community in which they reside. The honorees are a variety of ages and have different backgrounds ranging from high schools students, to college instructors, to those in PHD programs.

One of those honorees is Danea Buschkoetter, a welding instructor at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas. She is helping build the welding program from the ground up and began working for the college this fall. She received her Certificate of Welding from NCK Tech in Beloit in 2016. She went on to complete an associate degree in Welding Engineering Technology/Technician from NCK Tech in 2017, and then a Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology from Fort Hays State University in May 2019. Before coming to Cloud, she was a Welding instructor at NCK Tech.
