The deadline nears for local high school seniors to apply for Twin Valley’s Youth Scholarship Program, with the application window closing on Friday, February 16.
As Kansas’s largest independently owned broadband & communications company, Twin Valley will award scholarships up to $2,500 to local high school seniors to use towards an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. The student must live in a Twin Valley connected community and have an interest in returning to a rural community following graduation.
The link to the application portal can be found at twinvalley.com/outreach. Applicants will be considered as a part of the national FRS scholarship program, and those scholarship recipients will be notified by May 2024. Any applications not awarded through Twin Valley’s partnership with FRS will be considered in a second round through the Twin Valley Community Outreach Program.
Ben Foster, Twin Valley President & CEO said that they believe in the transformative power of education, and the scholarship program is designed to allow local seniors to return to enrich our rural communities with their knowledge and skills
