In the month of October, the unemployment rate in Cloud County increased to 3.3 percent. In September, it was at 2.8 percent. These statistics were provided by the Kansas Department of Labor.

Other counties, like Washington County, had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.4 percent. Republic County had the next lowest in the region at 2.5 percent.

Clay County had an unemployment rate of 3%.
