Washington Health and Drug Giving Out Free School Supplies for Third Straight Year

By Ryan Duey

Washington Health and Drug is providing free school supplies to students in Washington County for the third consecutive year. Last year, the pharmacy supplied over 600 students. This initiative covers students from Clifton-Clyde Elementary, St. John’s Catholic, Linn Lutheran, Hanover Elementary, Linn Elementary, and Washington County Elementary.

Students can collect their supplies from the pharmacy between August 5th to 9th during business hours. Volunteers will assist students in selecting the supplies they need, and students can personalize their backpacks with patches and take back-to-school photos.

Families on vacation during the pickup week should contact the pharmacy in advance to arrange an alternative pickup. Keri Rogge of Washington Health and Drug has coordinated with school administrators to ensure all K-6 students receive the necessary supplies.
