Throughout the month of March and leading up to April 25th, the Belleville Public Library is helping area students prepare for Prom with ‘Prep for Prom.’
The library is stocked with dresses, shoes, suits, and more for students to take as needed at no charge. The items do not need to be returned unless students want to pass them along to someone else next year.
On April 25th, the day of the Prom, the library will feature music, snacks, and a get-ready space where attendees can receive assistance with hair and makeup before the big dance, all at no cost.
Teens from all counties are welcome to pick up what they need. Donations of prom items are also being accepted. To donate or ‘shop’ for that special outfit, visit the library during its open hours.
