Magdalene Project Opens Warming Shelter in Junction City

Magdalene Project, Junction City

Executive Director Jodi Mason says that the Magdalene Project has a warming shelter open at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 126 W. 7th Street in Junction City.  It is a 24/7 shelter with three hot meals and will be open until noon on Sunday, February 23rd.

A key point is that this is for anyone without heat (ie: utilities are off), not just those that are unhoused.  They are also looking for more 6-hour shift volunteers.  The link to sign up to volunteer is: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B48A5A62.

You can volunteer to cover a 6-hour shift, donate blankets or sleeping bags, drop off supplies (cleaning, TP, bottled water), or sign up to provide a warm meal.
