Temperatures are set to soar into the low 100s from Friday through next Tuesday.
The hottest days will be Sunday and Monday, with temperatures ranging from 100 to 106. Most record highs for Monday are from the years 1934, 1954, and 2003, all historically hot summers with record highs between 108 and 113. These records are unlikely to be broken except for Goodland’s record of 107 set in 1934.
Monday’s records still range from 106 to 113. The one closest to record territory will likely be Goodland again, with a record high of 106 set in 1925.
