On July 27th, 2023, The Geary County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Space Out Smoke and Vape Shop in Junction City, Kansas.

They seized 1,450 items containing the controlled substance THC, as well as 1,200 items of drug paraphernalia specific to the possession or consumption of an illegal substance.

Most of the items seized looked like candy and were packaged in a way that could be enticing to children. The items contained high levels of THC. The department is urging parents to be aware of what their children are consuming, as some of the items could cause health issues.

The case is still under investigation.
