Riley Co., Kan. — Northern Riley County Residents are hoping a special commissioner meeting on Thursday will swing the county commissioners to consider a fully staffed ambulance service for the rural parts of the county.
Kevin Bellamy, who organized a meeting back on January 19th about the residents’ concerns, said the meeting is important for residents in the area to attend whether or not they talk with commissioners.
He said in a recent meeting they emphasized that this isn’t a matter of wanting this, it’s a matter of need.
The meeting will be held at 7 pm on Thursday at the Leonardville Community Center.
