Budding Talent: Cole Pladson’s Standout Performance in Prep Baseball (PBR) Kansas Best of 2023

In the PBR Kansas Best of 2023: Peak Batted Distance, Cole Pladson from Clay Center emerged as a notable talent, according to Prep Baseball Pladson, a left-handed hitter committed to Oklahoma State, ranked third in batted distance, hitting a remarkable 368 feet. Throughout 2023, Pladson showcased his offensive prowess, earning the Kansas Hitter of the Week award in May. His performance extended into the summer, including during the Kansas City Program Invitational at Creekside.

Recognized for his advanced skills, Pladson’s standout qualities include minimal in-zone swing-and-miss and consistent contact with gap-to-gap power. His impactful contributions led to an invitation to the PBR Future Games, where he had a 98-mph exit velocity and a powerful swing.
